3 Bedrooms, 2 1/2 Bathrooms. 1 King, 1 Queen, 2 Twin Beds. 2 TV's, DVD, wireless internet, dishwasher, microwave, charcoal bbq, deck, double garage. This very comfortable home has blue water ocean view from the deck. Nicely furnished and quiet. At the top of Park Hill, just a short walk to the upper ranch trail and only 1/2 mile to Shamel Park and the ocean. This is a split level home. The upstairs is the main part of the house including the master bedroom and bathroom. The living room, dining area and kitchen are upstairs as well as a half bathroom. The downstairs consists of the two other bedrooms and a separate tv room. ADULTS PREFERRED

    555 is a comfortable house. Easy evening walking and lots of deer to watch. This time the lower floor smelled musty because the dehumidifier had not been used prior to our arrival - easily rectified. Nice kitchen, full dining room. After 6 stays we will be back for more enjoyable unwind time in Cambria.

    Pros and Cons:

    - Location is good and this house is one of the relatively newer, nicer homes in the community.

    - We enjoyed the upstairs open floorpan with vaulted ceilings, lots of natural light from many windows and a master bedroom on the same floor. The bed was firm but moderately comfortable. Nice master bath.

    - Two zero-gravity type chairs were very comfortable. We sat and read. Never watched TV even once.

    - The property management company was kind enough to turn OFF the WiFi before arrival so we had less Microwave RF Radiation that interferers with sleep quality (google: "Physicians for Safe Technology"). This is a huge advantage over any hotel in town--being able to turn OFF the WiFi so you're not getting radiated all night.

    - Like Manhattan Beach, you can look out and see your nearby neighbors and they can see you. Hello to the nice lady with the bathrobe, cup of coffee and dog across the way.

    - PROBLEM: Mold or Mildew: We could not use the downstairs bedrooms because of the unpleasant, musty smell. Actually took a picture of the green stuff in a downstairs bathroom ceiling exhaust fan that indicatives a problem that requires the help of a Building Biologist. This was disappointing because one of us snores and we were counting on using more than one bedroom. FOR THIS REASON, VALUE WAS NOT RECEIVED FOR PRICE PAID.

    - SAFETY ISSUE: the concrete slab just below the garage door is uneven in elevation and a brightly colored line should be painted across that area so people don't trip or twist an ankle. My wife & I both stepped on the uneven area and almost went down.

    - MAINTENANCE: Overall OK, but several window screens have holes. One or two of the chairs have very noticeable tears in the upholstery. The living room sofa is so spongy that it needs re-padding. CFL light bulbs should be removed for many reasons.

    Our stay exceeded our expectations. We are grateful that we had the opportunity to stay there. The owners are lucky to have Cambria Vacation Rentals manage their property.     We had a great stay there. Everything was neat and clean. Location was better than I thought. You do have views of the ocean and can hear it at night. It was nice having a garage to park in. A larger TV with a sound bar would be nice. And maybe a TV in the master bedroom. Other than that, it was perfect. Great curb appeal. We watched the fireworks from the deck on July 4th. What more can you ask for? We will be back.

    My two friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our short stay in your beautiful home! It was comfortable and spacious, with a fully stocked kitchen for cooking meals. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet; it was close to town and the ranch trails.
